Die Umbauarbeiten wie beispielsweise am Turm Waldgreut verschlangen insgesamt 130.000 Euro. Als dieses 1904 der Witterung zum Opfer fiel, wollte keiner mehr auf die sch\u00f6ne Fernsicht verzichten und so wurden eifrig Spenden f\u00fcr einen richtigen Turm gesammelt. 1912 war\u2019s geschafft: Der neue Turm, eine verschalte Holzkonstruktion auf einem massiven Steinsockel, konnte eingeweiht werden. Direkt neben dem Turm liegen zwei Grillstellen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R\u00f6mersteinturm<\/strong> (29 Meter H\u00f6he): Standfl\u00e4che: 874 Meter \u00fcber N.N., \u00d6ffnungszeiten: st\u00e4ndig ge\u00f6ffnet, erreichbar \u00fcber: R\u00f6merstein-Donnstetten<\/p>\n<p>Zu den \u00e4ltesten Turmbauten des Biosph\u00e4rengebiets geh\u00f6rt der Sternbergturm bei Gomadingen. Bereits 1894 wurde auf der h\u00f6chsten Erhebung der M\u00fcnsinger Alb eine alte Weidebuche mit einem h\u00f6lzernen Aussichtsger\u00fcst versehen. Als das zusammenbrach baute der Albverein 1905 auf dem Sternberg einen ersten 26 Meter hohen Holzturm. Nachdem auch dieser in die Jahre gekommen war, wurde daneben die dritte Turmgeneration errichtet: Der neue Himmelsst\u00fcrmer war nun 32 Meter hoch und wurde am 21. Mai 1953 feierlich eingeweiht. Auf dem Sockel des alten Turms baute die Gemeinde Gomadingen 1980 ein Wanderheim.
